This is a guide on how to install and use VPS on MT4.
A lot of traders use MetaTrader 4 (MT4) to trade in the financial markets.
It is a great platform, but they come with their own set of drawbacks.
If you want to keep your money safe and secure, then using VPS is the way to go!
Here are some reasons why MT4 traders should consider using a Virtual Private Server:
The most important reason for trading on MT4 with a Virtual Private Server is that it reduces the risk that comes with trading on an unsecured PC or laptop.
You’ll be able to sleep better at night knowing you’re not going to lose any money from someone hacking into your system!
The second benefit of using VPS is that it will give you faster trading speeds.
This means the time between clicking buy/sell and actually executing your trade could be as little as a few seconds!
Another important benefit to setting up MT-based trades through a Virtual Private Server (VPS) is protected from malware, ransomware, viruses, etc.
These are all risks when dealing with public Wi-Fi networks or other unsecured PCs at work or in coffee shops.
You’ll also have people trying to hack into your system or someone’s system on the same network, and this can lead to devastating consequences.
When trading with forex brokers abroad, they may restrict their customers from accessing certain markets based in specific countries.
With a VPS, one does not need to worry about this barrier being imposed by these foreign providers!
Now that you know the top 4 reasons to use MT4-VPS, it’s time to get started on how to install and use VPS in MT4.
Before you install mt4 on VPS, you first need the VPS server.
To get it, go to https://truehost.cloud/ and buy one.
We have the cheapest VPS servers located all over the world.
Once you have acquired a VPS, simply follow these easy steps to install MT4:
When you buy a VPS, you will receive an administrator password and IP address. These are the things you will need to access your VPS remotely.
Go to your laptop and search ‘Remote.’
Click on the Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) app, it should be the first one on the list.
Type the IP you got and then you will be asked for the admin password.
Finally, click connect to access your forex VPS remotely.
Once you have accessed your trading VPS remotely, you are halfway done.
This can be done by going here for whichever version of the Metatrader platform you are using (web or desktop).
Remember, you’ll also need a VPS account with a good internet connection for all this to work.
All your trades will take place on this virtual server so make sure they meet all industry standards when selecting your provider.
To install MT4 on your VPS, open an internet browser on your RDC and download the broker’s MT4 client.
Once you have installed MT4 on VPS, it is time to set it up.
Follow these steps to set up mt4 on VPS;
Step one – Once the MT4 client is installed, simply click “Add” in order to add a new chart window and then select which broker/server you want to trade through from within the drop-down menu under “Server”.
Step two – In order to connect your MT-VPS account with the broker, you’ll need a trade ID and password. This information can be found on your VPS provider’s website. You will also want to make sure that when selecting “Server” for connecting it is set up as an SSL connection by clicking both buttons in the top right corner of the window (Certificate Issuer = All).
The default installation should have this selected automatically but just double check before continuing.
Step three – Copy and paste your Trade ID into Metatrader under Security > Authentication > Select Server Certificate.
Step four – Double click “Trade” at the very bottom left-hand side below all of the charts within Metatrader. This will bring up the “Signal” and “Trade” tabs at the top of your Metatrader window.”
