Citizens of all the Governments are demanding real-time services from Governments just as they receive from the private sector.

This has created huge demand for government cloud service all over the world including in Africa.

At Cloudpap, we are already active in the space, innovating products for governments in Africa.

Some of the things we are paying close attention to include:

Hybrid Government Cloud Set up

At Cloudpap, we have developed a hybrid government cloud service. Hybrid government cloud is a semi private cloud service, we set up  governments  private cloud service within the public cloud.

Data Center Set up

Cloudpap has consulted with Government agencies in Africa in development and set up of cloud data centers and mini data centers. Currently consulting in Kenya, South Africa, Ghana and Rwanda. We have enabled a few government agencies to handle their data while tapping to the latest technology in the most cost effective approaches.

Cloud Security Set up

Cloudpap security experts have been working with Government agencies in quest to audit cloud security and further address security loopholes and while proactively developing security applications

Data Migration and Knowledge Transfer

We have worked with government to migrate services from one cloud service to another. In most cases migrating Government services from international public cloud to Cloudpap cloud locally within their countries.

We are always keen to ensure thorough knowledge transfer to the Government ICT officers and data scientist to ensure continuity of services and develop in-house support capacities.

Government Disaster Recovery Site Set up

We have worked with Government Agencies in set up of Disaster Recovery Sites. Disaster Recovery Sites involve setting up primary and secondary data center sites with real-time replications.

In the past we have developed DRS for agencies that have set up primary data center on premises. We further set up secondary data center sites on Cloudpap data center. After successful data center set up, we further link the two sites with real-time data replication, to achieve a real-time DRS set up.
